Off topic here, but I just had Netflix send me Transformers 3 to me and I watched it last night. Just wow....what a bunch of drek that movie (and I use the term loosely) was! Seriously, everything about that pile of crap was horrendous, even for Michael Bay. I refuse to support his crap at the theatre, but I feel guilty having Netflix send me a copy of it via mail. If you haven't seen it, PLEASE....FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, save yourself 2+ hours!!

I didn't see anything past this... you still get physical discs in the mail??

I do, too. It's the best, legal way to see movies soon after they come out on DVD.

Yes, b/c Netflix doesn't offer most of the latest movies and driving to redbox is a PITA. I don't do Amazon Prime, so...

I became an eternal enemy to my next door neighbour after watching transformers one.

I had high powered speakers injected into my walls for the exact reason that I was going to watch action movies as loud As I (frank)ing can.

He hates me now. and parks in my drive way at 3 in the morning and revs his motorcycle as loud as possible.

I hate motorcycles for starters and that would drive me crazy. I would pour sugar in his tank or something or slash the tires. F that! no one disturbs my sleep!

Don't do iTunes and I refuse to pay for onDemand. Google play, however, could be another option.

other than V,Simmonds and Mason and a couple prospects, Homer has totally destroyed this organization.
- vejim

Simmonds/Schenn for Richards was great value, Couturier/Cousins/Jake for Carter was great value, finding guys like Read, PEB and Raffl were very good finds, Coburn for Zhitnik was great value. And I could go on. I don't think its fair to say just those 3 but I don't disagree that he has hamstrung this team with some of his bad contracts.

Streaming works best for me because the idea of sending discs in the email sounds like too much work.

I barely watch any movies on Netflix anymore these days... like HBO, it's becoming all about their original shows. They release the entire season in one drop -- that's pretty awesome.

Yeah, most of these big budget franchises are turning into a steaming pile of crap geared toward teens. (not that I ever thought the Transformers was good, but you'd figure it would at least be decent with the money dumped into it...)

I watch the second movie of the Spiderman reboot... I have permanent mental and visual scarring. The art of storytelling took a serious hit... cave wall paintings had much more to offer and were more finely composed.

House of Cards and Orange is the New Black are two of the best shows on TV right now. Both are Netflix originals.

When House of Cards drops at the end of February, I'll probably watch it straight through.

Even as nostalgia, the Transformers were kinda after my time. When the Transformers were "a thing" in the 80's, I was watching other things. So, the Transformer movies never resonated for me from day 1.

And totally agree on the 2nd movie of the Spiderman reboot. My kid will watch ANYTHING with a super hero in it and even he pretty much hated it.

So true...the lost art of storytelling you mean! What's frightening is that people continue to pay good money at the movies. Have we become a society that tolerates and accepts less than mediocre film? Not that I expected much from Michael Bay, but the dialogue seemed it was purposely bad to draw a laugh. Never again. Spiderman was "Citizen Kane" compared to T3.

I watched 3 episodes of HoC and it didn't resonate with me. Orange is the New Black, however, I enjoyed. I'm glad Netflix is getting good programming....I just hope they don't get greedy and up their membership again. I won't hesitate to drop them like a bad habit.

I plan on it, but I've heard great things so far. But I've learned to never trust critics' reviews or other people's for that matter.
