Lol, let's just say that STH's have become as common as unicorns around here.

When I first visited the site, I thought you had to be a season ticket holder to write comments, so I never signed up.

I don't understand why anyone is a season ticket holder.

I have HB whitelisted and see the ads , but I don't have these issues you guys are talking about. Maybe because I use NoScript.

So are you saying the Flyers arent gonna make the playoffs??!!! CANT BE!!!
- GOA88

obviously. just saying its crazy how daunting it is just little over half way thru the season. The Eagles imploded. The Flyers are done half way into the season. the sixers (not that I like basketball) are done. the Phillies will be done 1 month into a 162 game season. god philly sports sucks

At least now I know where to find dates with asian women when I'm a middle aged man (oddly specific).

The saddest part is that the Flyers, Phillies and Sixers likely won't be making the playoffs in 2016 either. 2017 could be the year if all things go right.

Same, the gap was reasonable. Great 1v1 move by Bonino, crap goal by Razor.
- Tomahawk

He not only lost body position, but it was a bad stick. If he didn't reach for the poke check, it would've been a routine stick block. Also a bad goal let in by Emery.

Haha, it's definitely gotten a lot more aggressive today.

This site is the reason why I discovered adblock in the first place... damned auto-plays. Now auto-directs. Nah, I'm not white listing until the site is usable w/o it.

- Tomahawk

Yup. Same. When I had audio coming at me when I was listening to something else or just didn't want to hear a (frank)ing commercial like I'm watching TV, I got annoyed and found a way to block that crap.

Rinaldo can only dream of ascending to the stratosphere of a player who notched a whopping 1 point in an 18 playoff game run. #differencemaker
- BulliesPhan87

Also 24 PIM's in that same 18 game playoff run. #differencemaker.

Like I said, pretty easy to get in touch with him/her: @2_for_slashing
- Tomahawk

I don't need to get in touch with her. I'm already aware of her work. Not only is she completely unqualified and frankly clueless. She also lacks objectivity and has biases. I was interested in your opinion on those scenarios.

sobering seeing it in "print"

the playoffs teams the Flyers are chasing.....well we know its not realistic but non the less chasing

Washington (3rd in the Metro) - 56 points - 43 games
Boston (1st wild card) - 54 points - 45 games
NY Rangers (2nd wild card) 52 points - 41 games
Flyers 41 points - 45 games

- nastyflyergirl

Watching this team in person last night made me less than sober.

The site needs a new revenue stream (or two) if they are relying upon ad views and/or clicks to pay the bills.

I think Hexy thought he could get him signed early in order to save some money without guaranteeing a roster spot.

If Rinaldo played a solid season and was able to contribute, he may have been in line for more than the waiver amount.

The contract becomes a bargain if Rinaldo becomes a real contributor and it can be buried if he ends up being a fringe NHLer. I think he felt it was a no lose situation.

- PhillySportsGuy

I don't think they saved any money. I think the early signing was about taking pressure off of him in thinking about the future, in the hope that it will help him develop further as a player.

other than V,Simmonds and Mason and a couple prospects, Homer has totally destroyed this organization.

Feels like I've been doing more scoreboard watching than ever this season... except I'm not hoping the teams ahead of us lose.

I don't understand the value proposition for being a STH for this site.

Off topic here, but I just had Netflix send me Transformers 3 to me and I watched it last night. Just wow....what a bunch of drek that movie (and I use the term loosely) was! Seriously, everything about that pile of crap was horrendous, even for Michael Bay. I refuse to support his crap at the theatre, but I feel guilty having Netflix send me a copy of it via mail. If you haven't seen it, PLEASE....FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, save yourself 2+ hours!!
