I think Mcquaid would cover a lot of Krugs deficiencies. Krugs not terrible defensively but needs help and right now Miller isn't helping. McQuaid is an awesome d man just a half step slow to be top 4

I see Krug making a lot bad plays in the D zone. Miller as well. They both have some more to learn there. Krug's real value is on the power play and moving puck though. He is still very young developing. I just think rather than slashing his ice time and putting it on the other 5 guys, sit him a game or 2. See how he responds.
