Well at least the Laffs fans stopped planning the parade a few weeks ago. Now there's tank talk. Lots of it. They can back the (frank) off. Stay in mediocrity forever, thanks.

If they fix the Guard problem on the line they could get frigging Blaine Gabbert in here and the team would go 10-6 with this Defense.

I prefer Guy Boucher but would not have a problem with Deboer
- homiedclown

Forgot about him. I wouldn't have a problem with him either.

All this talk of Nolan being fired (which I don't really have an issue with either way) any thoughts on Peter Deboer (sp) ?

He seemed to do well in first years with FLA and NJ..

This team has an owner willing to spend money, as evidenced by the Rex Ryan hire. There's no need to mess with mediocrity. Don't get someone that was okay when the stars aligned. Get somebody that's genuinely good.

Sign Revis to a 1 year deal.

Get the o-line in the sauna to drop a few pounds.

Sign a mid tier FA Guard.

Trade for Cutler/Bradford.

WIN!

I wonder if that is why the leafs are holding off naming a coach, seems weird since they are a fringe playoff team

The whole QB thing is so huge. I don't know where they're headed concerning that but even a slight improvement over Orton and this past years team would have won maybe 2-3 more games. With Ryan as coach I think the team will win more games.

Marone just interviewed for Offensive Coach there, so he won't be following him, lol. (Spiller in Jacksonville)

We need to restructure Mario, and get TE Thomas from Denver (Pending FA) as well. Then we will be all set.

Take Marios salary and turn it into Bonus. That saves you another 10MM.

Good thing with Peggy is we can now do bonus contracts to lower overall cap hit.

shows you how little I pay attention to the jaguars, and I am 30 minutes from their stadium

if a few bills restructured, they could do some big things this off season

I think they use the franchise tag on Hughes.
I hope Bryce Petty is still there when we pick in the 2nd round. Dude has so much upside as a NFL QB. We also need to get some guards. Revis would be awesome.. there is a huge need at corner after Gilmore.

Good luck with that, as nice as it would be to knock off a few million off his cap.

Or 3rd round.. he has a great down the field ball which will work great with Watkins and Woods.. and he does not have cement blocks as feet like Orton. I think as the process goes on... his stock will rise like this says.. but I like him more than most the other QB's in thia draft.

I'm an engineer too. I understand the effort you went through to clarify this to the public.
