I am not saying I like EJ, but 14 games is a small sample size of effectiveness. Rex Ryan and Greg Roman are used to mobile QB's. It could benefit EJ greatly. I think EJ was consistently told to not run and to stay in the pocket, whereas Rex has openly said he wants him to use his legs more. That is what made him effective in college.

Those guys are so 2 generations ago. They would be a one year stop gap at best. Then what? I appreciate your ambitions, but we have to face it, we have no first this year and this is still the Bills. Current Bills managers and Pegula, despite their best intentions, have no track record of on field success. Especially in short order. I'm hoping for the best but Im not expecting any miracles.

As he said, Foligno looked unbelievable when he first came up.

I also remember during those great two years after the lockout how every player that came up made an impact and looked like they were going to be very good. Even Novotny looked good when he first came up.
