nah, he was brought in to help put out the tire fire and maybe get some effort out of a team that was way short on talent. who are the best players he has coached?- satan, yashin, comrie? whats he done to warrant an extended look with better players? if murray isnt happy with the development of the younger players on the team, hes cooked.

Because they don't have cap to spend and they lost their two star players due to retirement and a trade ? Hoffman has 15 goals this year, they were able to identify Turris when everyone thought he was a bust, found Karlsson in the middle of the first round. Zinanijad has yet to impress yet but he's done enough to project as a top 6 player

You are right, it wasnt gorges. We gave la back their 2nd rounder this year in the mcnabb trade. I think we just have ours and the isles as of right now. I swear, i just read that we have 2 second rounders, and those are the only ones i can find.

You could be right ! But we did get two seconds back in the moulson deal so I was under the assumption we swapped 2nd rounders in two seperate deals

It's definitely going to be hard for a goalie to see around him. What he does with it will be interesting to see.
