I agree Gerbe75 but Jeremy Roy is another right handed shot defenseman. Do we really need another one of those ?

if you get him late he is one of the late pick gems that should be a top 10 pick

you have to have a back up Plan for Myers .

Or could be epic bad. We end up picking players you think stink.

Flip staff and stewart for whatever you can get most likely be 2nd rounders but then we can package those with our other two firsts in an attempt to move up in the 1st. Quality over quantity at this point

So do I, I also know that people rise and fall unexpectedly in the draft and if we can position ourselves with 3 top 20 picks in this years draft we'll be deadly in 2-3 years

Ottawa's whole team is from previous drafts most players came in the middle to late rounds. He brought a lot of guys with him over from Ottawa as well Devine still has a voice in the scouting process. Lot of voices and scouts that are able to see these players play in person I have faith in the process

Ottawa currently sits 11th in the east.. not sure this is a huge endorsement

We have 3 2nd round picks, have yet to trade staff and stewart, and the isles and blues haven't choked in the first round of the playoffs yet. Patience is a virtue

Because they don't have cap to spend and they lost their two star players due to retirement and a trade ? Hoffman has 15 goals this year, they were able to identify Turris when everyone thought he was a bust, found Karlsson in the middle of the first round. Zinanijad has yet to impress yet but he's done enough to project as a top 6 player

I wish I stuck to my guns of keeping Getzlaf and Perry in my lineup...

Quick killed me last night.

DD is in my division.

Marcus Mariota looks like he will be a good QB, to bad we don't have a chance to try for him.
- SABRES 89

This defense guaranteed that they wouldn't have a shot at Mariota, Watkins trade or no Watkins trade.
