Honestly, I have no idea what it means. Just that you had the 1st overall 3 years in a row I guess. So... ya'know, whatever that's worth. I'm trying to get something done and don't really feel like trying to figure out why I felt that was relevant.

Who is your team mikeover?

Or should it just be assumed by the nature of your comments?

Yeah this is true I guess. No one in the pipeline that's good enough to hold the spot the next couple years if a trade is on the horizon?

Not saying the sens will trade him I just don't like the fact people use the contract signing as a means of a player staying with a team.

Not sure where i did that at all actually. And of course they are incomparable. No one has ever made a mistake like that. Im just saying isles fans shouldnt have an opinion on other goalie contracts.

You honestly think it's an actual lottery? C'mon, they do it behind closed doors with about 3 or 4 NHL executives in the room.

If it was legit, why would it be so secretive? I'm not much of a conspiracy theorist but yikes.

- mikeover

Yea it totally makes sense that they would conspire to give the 6th most profitable team in the league 3 consecutive 1st overall picks

by that logic, rangers fans shouldn't have an opinion about any free agent signigns, since sather has pretty much been responsible for a large majority of the worst ones over the last 15 years or so.

Not in recent memory actually, glass is forgettable, but not regrettable, he shed richards contract, and hes added pieces like pouliot last year and stempniak this year to short term contracts as role players who bolster our already depth-laden roster. So unless you havent watched hockey since 2006 you would know that. Hes become one of the best as far as signing and resigning fa's

well, dipietro's contract was signed in like 04 or 05...and since then the isles have been pretty good with thier goalie contracts. and they were able to shed dipietro's contract.

your argument is falling apart.
