Buffalo has the 2nd biggest population in NY and they have loyal fans considering how badly they get shafted year after year with promises of change. Unlike az, nj, and the other usual suspects. Edmonton isnt a small market but no matter which pick they get im convinced theyll try and redraft yak or something. Because theyre that incompetent

While this is true, the Sabres franchise is still thriving despite being a terrible team. Carolina and Arizona, not so much. They could use a super star to give the fans something to go see.

Does Edmonton have a defenceman better than colours? I don't think so, so by default that makes him a number one, you number one. Eberle is a slightly better gagne, I would never pay what Edmonton deems fair for him

I don't know why people insist that signing a contract means they are an absolute Garuntee to stay.

Even NMC have their ways to make players agree to a trade.

It is very difficult to move goalies with big contracts and if they have a ntc/nmc, that adds another wrinkle to the equation. Not so bad with other positions but in net, it is trickier....

A team usually tries to go into the season with the goalie position set...
