No it doesn't bc who's the back-up to Lehner? You cant go into every season with multiple holes, the G situation is one that the Sens don't have, so why make one??

there are always a plethora of backup goalies available.......ottawa has also drafted a couple of goalies the last few years who look like they're both ready to play in the AHL, and maybe only 2-3 years away from being NHL ready (dreidger & hogberg). lehner is good enough to be a starter IMO....and you can sign a decent vet to back him up.

i don't think ottawa will trade anderson, but given where the team is, it wouldn't be the worst idea.

Just give me picks for any players. Obviously Edmonton isnt giving their first for Coburn and wouldnt make much sense to trade a high pick for him when you are aiming for a top pick.

The 1st rounder would need to come from a team in contention. I have no problem trading Coburn for a 1st (2 - 2nds if you cant get a 1st) and Streit for a 1st.

Lack or Markstrom from the Canucks would make way more sense. At least their salaries could be handled if they needed to carry 3 goalies for a while.

he's atleast as good as howard.......putting up pretty much the same numbers (better sv%, worse gaa, facing WAAYYY more shots) and a worse team.

Mrazek is just as good or better than both of them at this point. Gustavsson will be returning soon. Howard is only expected to be out 2-4 weeks. Detroit is not in the market for a goalie.
