It's quite ridiculous when you consider his zone starts, QoC and most common partner is Streit.

Its a horrible pairing. No idea what Chief sees in it.

Well, I don't think he was referring to the "best at losing" contest, and we sure as poop don't have a shot at actual first. Last year's Sabres and the 2006-07 Flyers would say best loser doesn't assure you anything, and the odds at the top pick were better for them than they are this year.
- BulliesPhan87

Nope. But in general he's spot on.

I actually think the Coburn-Schultz pairing has held their own lately. They're tasked with the tough match ups and tough zone starts.

I'm not saying they should tank, either.

But right now, I'm getting kids and lesser used players into games. I'm playing Colaiacovo regularly, Id be looking to start the selling, and open doors to get a peek at guys in the AHL, especially if they don't have bonuses that kick in for games played. Guys like Manning are a perfect example.

Agreed. It's fools gold to think this team is still alive in the playoff race.

I guess, generalizations are generally problematic.

Just checked it out, lol.

So Big Nik being out effectively offsets all the tanking gains from 2-weeks-No-Mason?

- Tomahawk

Don't worry, the deficient/inconsistent team defense will still be there to take (tank) us to the promised land!

So, do advanced statistics hold water today? If so, how many units of water do they hold?

Very perceptive Sir. Insinuates he ate a slice en route to delivering.

Get a good one!

also...ever notice when mr. hand opens the box and takes a slice, it just looks like a plain pie? it's possible the double cheese has buried the sausage, but i don't think so. it's pretty thin.
