I may be a poopty Oilers fan who obviously values a good d man. But imo Williams > Martin. I know the market for d men is steep but the current Conn Smythe for a top four D man who won't be instrumental in a cup win, ever. Williams worth more imo.

But none of them have won the CS trophy... So Williams > Martin + Kapinen + Sutter + Perron + Crosby + Letang + Kunitz

Yeah I'd be comfortable doing a Crosby + Geno + Letang + Perron + Dumoulin + Kapenen for Williams. The cup total equals out so it looks fair. I'd rather have a team full of Williams' then a team full of crosbys

Last year Williams WAS the reason they won the cup. Gaborik was a close 2nd. Quick was solid in 3rd periods and O.T's to allow the Kings to rallly. But Williams scored critical goal after critical goal.

yes it is....for the kings....maatta is out for the pens and that means martin is not as expendable as he used to be....we looked really bad while both martin and maatta were out......how bout we give you a couple prospects say harrington and pouliat but u give them back to us at the end of the year
