Did anything about your feelings on the Sabres this season change when they won 10 out of 13 games?

"No. I think that we played well. I think that we played hard. But the analytics were basically all the same. Our shooting percentage got higher in those wins. I don't want to think completely on that, but the numbers were pretty close to the same as when we lost other than save percentage and shooting percentage. And for the 3rd time in a week or so since the WJC ended and articles came out with Murrays quotes, hes saying the same things I've said on here. During that winning streak, our numbers didnt differentiate outside of two factors. Shooting percentage (playing backup goalies a lot) and save percentage (Neuvirth injured, riding Enroth leads to hot streak). Outside of that, corsi remained the same. Still won games we got dominated in possession. And that it was unsustainable.

What is your individual evaluation of Tyler Myers?

"I like him. I see a massive guy that can really skate, can really move, can really disrupt the other team's possession with his long reach, with his stick. He throws big checks, knocks guys down, separates them from the puck. That's what I think his main strength is. I think in our game you have to stop possession pretty quickly in your own zone or you're stuck there. I think when we're a good team, he's a big part of that. But I think you're going to see better results when we're a better hockey club of stopping possession. When we get better players, when we can transition the puck quickly, that I think is going to be a big part of his game and I think he's very good at it."

Last year, i remember thinking he's no Cam Neely, but he putting up decent numbers on a bad team. This year, WTF? Did he train with Leino during the summer?
