On most two on ones the advantage is going to be in favour of the offense.

Yep, and Streit misplayed it, because he took the shooter, rather than the pass.

But Emery still got beat short side, by a stoppable shot.

moving on step closer to the end of his prolonged slump?

Read's effort level was there today but to me he looked like a rookie in this one. He never looked ready or ahead of any plays. He was handed gifts at times and never seemed ready.

Not horrible, but the first goal was a bad rebound & the short handed one was stoppable.

I don't usually blame a goalie for shorthanded goals. Today is no exception.
The power play goal was simply a great play that virtually no goalie would stop.
I missed the first goal so have no comment.

They absolutely could not finish. They had a lot of good chances, too

The short handed goal was a perfect shot into the top corner with a lot of heat on it. It would not have been an easy save for any goalie.

He had no shot at the 2nd goal. The first goal was a bad rebound, but there was also a lot of standing around

And I'm not blaming him alone for the shorty. It was a good shot. But it wasn't a one timer, he had time to get set.

Yeah, really not a goal I care to debate, I've seen a lot of goalies get scored on that way. It probably happens nightly. I can't fault Emery on that one.

It was really a perfect shot by Kelly. Have to give him credit on that one.

On the 2nd Pasternak goal, it was a bad pass by Coburn that didn't connect, but what everyone missed was that I think it was Umberger who was the pass target, went off on a change when the puck was not deep, quick transition pass not only caught the other two forwards, but also was pretty much a 5 on 4 play for the Bruins, because there was no way Simmonds could get back into the play coming off the bench.

Any words on Mason?

That @AP pic that Bill retweeted was a great shot.
