He needs out of that environment. Its time to face facts, Edm has stunted his development and he simply isn't going to play good hockey there.

Watch some highlights of his rare multi-point games when he gets more than 12 minutes of ice time and is used in important situations. The kid is explosive, he hits, and can score. But confidence wise he has been completely ruined by the Oilers system and coaching.

I don't know what we would give up for him. It certainly would not be a Gudbranson, Bjugstad, Barkov, or Huberdeau. At this point we'd be doing him and the Olers a favor. They can take Fleischman and a 3rd or something and like it.

MIN needs goaltending in a bad way; Anderson is a great solution. Scandella or Brodin would be targets. They log big mins and play the left side. Weircioch could go the other way or to really sweeten the pot you add Methot (resigns 4-5 year). The return would be Brodin at a 1st with Anderson and a great shutdown guy in Methot. Speaking of him.....

would make sense the rangers go after yandle...and trade staal..although i dont know if yandle is signed beyond this year and for how much? anyone? also considering maloney is in charge in phoenix helps rangers chances of landing him...
