They're just really bad at drafting, developing and retaining. They've never had a shortage of picks... I don't really expect having more will do them much good. I kind of see them being the next Oilers.
- Tomahawk

Compared to the Oilers and Buffalo, they Flyers scouts get an A+ and their developmental program is elite.

The funny thing is I don't get why hockey is not. Football contracts has a guaranteed portion so even if the get cut, they get paid and can sign a new contract on top of that. The only way hockey players can double up money is by being bought out and signing with someone else.
- psuhockey

God, can you imagine how much crazier Homer would have gone for UFAs if that was the case. He would constantly be ripping up old contract and signing new ones with old Ed's money. He'd have carpel tunnel syndrome. And re-signings? Read would be an 8M player this season until next year when he would be let go. Like Christmas all the time!

The way zadorov skates at his size is remarkable. Hes still raw, but i think, if developed right, he could be a solid top pair guy down the road. Thats asking way too much in buffalo though

I guess you're right, I can't expect you to do much except read at a 3rd grade level, do an "E-A-G-L-E-S" chant, throw a beer at me, and eat a banada peel out of a dumpster.

No, it's just that none of the pictures you posted were showing up. He was being facetious.

Lived in NYC for three years. Left in October. Wow, what a dumparoo. If I could do it again, I'd live in Philly.

So far, I'm really loving Tucson and Southern Arizona as a whole, but I still have to get to Portland.

Seattle is my true love

You know, you honestly seem like a pretty good guy. We're always up for good conversation on here, but you came rolling in on here insulting Philadelphia and now you're completely cool with everything. What gives?

Im at work, i hate work. I approach these situations as i would women, come in strong, be sort of an a**hole, then cool off so everyone says "oh, hes not so bad." I honestly love talking unbiased hockey, and i hate the rep that ranger fans get (i guess all fans do though) of not knowing the game. So i tempered myself and here we are
