I think by default we will get a pick or 2 for 2016. Maybe not a 1st though

I think a 2nd usually moves u up 3-4 spots but I think it would be hard to find a trade partner in the top 10.

They're not neck and neck. McDavid started slow, and then played his best hockey when it mattered.

Eichel started hot, against much weaker competition, and then disappeared when it mattered.

Unless something really drastic happens, like a very serious injury, McDavid is going to go #1.

My guess is if Enroth is moved it'll be for a b prospect and a 2nd or a goalie for goalie deal with parts sprinkled in on either side.

Enroth has value I would think a player with value would come back, I wouldn't take another pick for him. He's on a bad team but has played pretty well IMO, I think he's worth a player. We would have the Wild over a barrel considering whats going on over there.

At this point though, a GM willing to take a risk could "buy low" and probably get him pretty cheap bc of his contract
He's got a strong off season work ethic (trains with Gary Roberts) & hasn't come off at all like the whiney brat he was portrayed to be in Vancouver... Even when he was a healthy scratch, he had a good attitude about it.
Idk if he'll ever hold his own defensively, but I'd be very surprised if he isn't a consistent 20goal scorer in the future
A fresh start on a team like Arizona, Calgary, etc could work out really nicely
