We've scored 3 goals in our last 4 games and have allowed 17. I think individually judging d men on + - is a mute point.

How about this.
Gorges has been on for 13 of the 17 goals against in the past four games

Bruins and Hawks look like they will be in trouble.

Where is the cap going next year, I cant see it increasing. Canadian dollar alone must lower it by $2M or $3M.

Reports from the most recent GM meetings were an increase. I'll have to see if I can dig up where I found that though. Pretty sure I'm right, because I was surprised.

Found it: http://espn.go.com/blog/n...ext-step-in-nhl-expansion

SALARY CAP PROJECTION
The NHL also informed owners of the projected salary cap for next season.

Barring the Canadian dollar plunging further, the cap is expected to be around $73 million. Some teams were nervous the cap would stay flat or perhaps even go down, which would tie their hands, given many clubs are already at the ceiling and need to re-sign players next summer.

But the NHL’s projection calls for the cap to go up.

I don't think you read this correctly.
I count 8 wins.

Good site.

It is interesting some stats
Gorges minus 13 in past 8 games
Zadorov minus 13 in past 11 games
Rostalenin minus 9 in last 10
Strachan minus 11 in past 7

Gerbs said regulation wins.

But there are three, not two as he initially thought.

EDIT: If Gus is our best player, he only has 7. and that's out of 41 games he's appeared in. about 17% (SECOND EDIT: gus played in everygame so far).

Gorges has appeard in 32 games, and therefore has a 9%

Myers also has 7 wins, but in only 33 games, or 21%

If my fast review is right.

I don't know your point.
That is a huge number of goals against to be on the ice for in four games.
He has not played well lately.

Or maybe he has in your opinion.

Not at all. Neither has Zadorov.

Gorges at best is a 3-5 guy on a normal functioning NHL team.

I count 7 regulation wins in 41 games played.

17% winning percentage as a team.

I was legitimately curious about how much time it took him to manage that feat.

Fundamentally, I have no problem with the shootout.

This year, I hate it.

Why is it people pronounce Sorbet (SORE-BEY), but people pronounce Sherbet (SHERBERT)?

Ive been thinking at work about Mark Giordano and how he has been blanketed on a subpar team in a tough conference for years and finally has flourished respectively with the development of the rebuild. I cant help but hope myers falls into this category.

He obviously fell into a lucky situation his rookie year on a strong team. Wasn't fully developed and then got stuck in the decline.

So heres to hoping he leads the d in scoring at 31...

Because one is a French term and the other is an American term.

Playing with Bodie has helped him as well.

Their top 4 d-men all play 23+ mins a night while their bottom 2 play 14 or less.

Why do famous drumming brothers Carmine Appice (a piece) and Vinny Appice (pronounced similarly to "apathy", with the C sound replacing the TH (obviously)) say their last names differently?
