I would normally agree with this, but there are several clubs there reported to be having issues paying their players. I would think he'd rather try to stay here where he knows he's at least going to get a paycheck.

Doubful, Teams in the KHL are folding by the month. Players are not getting paid. That league is a S*** show right now.

IMO, the KHL threat is all but dead.

I would normally agree with this, but there are several clubs there reported to be having issues paying their players. I would think he'd rather try to stay here where he knows he's at least going to get a paycheck.

Some of the teams are holding yes, but after the way his career has been going I would think going back to Europe would be a better place for him to rejuvenate his career, the bigger ice surface alone would help him out, not to mention the style of hockey.

I think a lot of the problem is, what club he is playing for. He is still a prospect that was undeservedly promoted to the big club. He very well could still have a bright future in the NHL, even with Edmonton. I just don't think Edmonton is that desperate to move him yet for the likes of Cody hodgson. They seem to be all in on mceichle.

That's like a BK manager leaving BK to be at least a manager at another fast food place. It's gonna happen. He'll get a job. OC or head coach somewhere. He's pretty highly regarded.
