You have a point when saying Kessel is far from being in an ideal situation, but

1) He priced himself out of Boston
2) He signed a long-term deal with the lousy and over-mediatized Leafs and should deal with it
3) PK maybe a lot of things, show-off, loud mouth, immature at times, but there is no comparaison to make with Phil Kessel. PK is (frank)ing everywhere in the province coaching kids, having fun with everybody on various talk shows, saying yes to every stupid PR request the Habs have. Stop reaching.

My point is that some players are more well rounded and make others around them better. Kessel has always stricken me as someone with a lot of flash but little else. I am not preaching this as the gospel but just giving my opinion. I would offer his off season training regiment in support of his lack of dedication to his team and his "I am what I am. Deal with it" attitude.
