I never considered Hacket to be that promising.

Enroth is at least tied for best player on the team this year. Is he the long-term guy? I don't know. Maybe some of us (me included) are getting a little carried away with selling anyone other than the young studs.

If he's an ufa, and either they don't plan on signing him or he won't re-sign, then you've got to get something for him if you can.

No way you downgrade your goaltending and upgrade theirs without getting a little something.

Goalies just aren't worth that much in trades. Also, what has Enroth ever done? I like him just fine but up until the last few weeks he has never been considered "the guy". He would only be considered an upgrade for them because their goalies have been terrible. That said, I'd have no problem keeping the little guy if we think he is the long-term (or mid-term) solution.

He is an upgrade for them . . We are swapping a second for a first . Not that big a cost for them not to waste all that talent they already have in a gallant race for ninth.

Once again, you're getting a goalie that was considered a very good prospect not long ago. I am not arguing that we should do it, I am only speculating on the return. Enroth wouldn't grab you any of their top forward prospects.

Our 2nd will be at the top of the 2nd round. Say Minny makes a run and gets in the playoffs then what? We moved up 10 spots, is it worth it?

Too much . Why do we have to lose this trade . If I am Minnesota . I am starting to freak out . All this high priced talent and outside looking in on playoff race.

Then I could on board with that.

They miss out on the playoffs and win the lottery we get McDavid and throw our entire draft at who finishes 30th (if its not us) to get Eichel, TM walks out of the draft like a boss!

Bailey is developing nicely and he was a second.

52nd overall I thought he was in the 60's for some reason.

At some point though a prospect will be moved.

Fasching>Bailey

I would rather move Bailey while he is developing nicely if it helps in the long run

Way too early to say that. Bailey's ceiling might be the biggest unknown out of all of our prospects.

That works . I just feel Minnesota is ripe to overpay to try and right the ship. That owner must feel frustration setting in.

At some point we will have 12 prospects on this team and we will be 34 million short of the salary cap min... Yes I'm exaggerating.

I agree we will need to start moving these prospects in bigger trades like if (im not pushing this here) Myers is moved to get a true first line winger you'll probably have to include a spect or 2

As long as their names don't start with Zemgus, Rasmus, Nikita or Sam, move whoever you have to, to get a true first liner.

I didn't watch all that much of the game, so perhaps I saw his worst portion of the game...but what I did see was fairly ugly with respect to his accuracy...wild and off the mark. He ran like a mutha though.
