Oh I have no doubt it will happen. Things change fast. No Goalies or D-Men available now doesn't mean their wont be at the deadline, draft or summer.

1) Because by the second half of the first year he looked great. For Draisaitl, sure, we'll see...but Nuge, Eberle and Yak? All meh, meh and meh.

2) Why? Not living up to expectations, just like the other two. RNH wouldn't be a scoring line center on most, if not all, playoff bound teams.

3) "Tagged as generational players". What a joke. McDavid, sure... he has a great chance at it, and will probably be a great player. Eichel? Meh. Not impressed.

Stammer was never called a generational player, nor is he. He is a solid first line center that, prior to Yzerman putting together a great team through veteran signings and smart drafting (you do realize there are more rounds than the first, right?), Stamkos, even with Marty and Vinny, was scoring but the team was a train wreck.

Keep drinking the kool-aid though, and the nice part is that if you spill some on your "Nuge" jersey it may actually go up in value.

Nuge has already out produced Daigle/Stefan as per single season stats and will continue to do so; so (frank) off with your comparison.

I don't hold Nuge in the Stammer class but more as a #2C. I also don't have a Nuge jersey and if I did drink Kool-Aid, I don't spill.
