When they made that free agent run in the summer of 2011, both Ennis and Stafford were absolutely guys they expected big things from, and didn't get. Now, Stripes is right when he says a lot of that is the fault of management, but the fact is, they were given those roles, and didn't deliver, whether they should have or shouldn't have. And if you're not one of those players, you're replaceable as far as I'm concerned. That doesn't mean I want them traded yesterday, but it does mean that the team shouldn't feel obligated to bend over backwards to keep them.

I agree. If a deal is to be made and its a good deal I won't be upset if Staff, Ennis, or insert player not named Girgensons is moved. I just don't see the reason to move anyone that doesn't do what they aren't built to do. Like Myers being more physical for example, or Stafford for not carrying a team, or Flynn for not being a 2nd line player (I'll admit I was wrong about him not being a good bottom 6 player).

This team needs to have a complete roster made up of a talented top 6 and a good bottom 6 to do their jobs. I don't understand all of the get him outta here talk.
