Maybe I am already there...

Anyway I didn't watch any of the game last night (thankfully) why can't we score on Luongo?

That's a great question. I wish I had the answer for that.

IMO he has taken about 20 steps backwards

he was more ready when he was willing to suck d$ck

nowhere near ready now, and to think I almost brought him to the table

I feel shame

Maybe once this team is consistently entertaining, the mood will lighten?

IMO one of the most under-rated goalies ever

Every goalie has clunkers at big moments

Looking back years later, very few recall when Roy got lit up by the wings or when brodeur doesn't get the devils past the first rd

they sure as hell remember Luongo taking the heat for Thomas playing his ass off.
2.50 GAA .919 save% for his career, playing mostly on crap teams
his playoff career stats 2.56 GAA .916 save%

I just find it weird like he is this impenetrable force when he plays the Sabres. I always thought of him as a good goalie just a bad contract

I am torn as to who I want. I want a coach that understands the passing game, that keeps Schwartz as D coordinator but has experience winning somewhere...

So you think you understand the game more than I because Tyler Myers is an average dman?
Okay. Ahahah
Look, you are free to think whatever you wish, my ego is just fine. Boost yours up if need be. I won't go back and forth on this with you.

I like Mike Weber's style, I never said he is the this teams best dman.

Weber is a 3rd pairing guy that will run through a wall for his coach and for his team mates.
He's that 5th or 6th defenseman that every team wants for his sandpaper.

- BuffaloHardHat

Yes, that is what I am telling you. Of all your discussion on these boards, you rely too much on your eyes and not on your brain. As I said in one of my last sentences, you wouldnt want to believe that Myers has been a top pairing D this season because your eyes only see what they want to see. And with all the proof of his play measured in statistics, it doesnt matter, your eyes are telling you he sucks. Its okay to have a favorite kind of player, but dont belittle the top pairing defenseman because he doesnt fit your mold.

Just an example, a turnover. All you see is Myers turning over the puck. "God damnit Myers!! You suck!" Thats a pretty common occurrence on these boards. Used to happen all the time with Sekera. Instead of analyzing. Okay where was his D partner, giving him an out? Where was the closest forward? Giving him an option? How many attackers on him? How much did he have to react? etc etc etc.... this is where the hockey knowledge comes into play. You havent really supplied us with having this knowledge.

Is their any debate that McDavid/Eichel is the best thing for this team?

Edmonton with points in 3 straight

Carolina actually outplayed someone last night.

We have a shot. Murray needs to trade off some players

If we bring in Jay Cutler with him fine ..

Jay Cutler would be fine here who gives a (frank) if he throws interceptions the D will cover his ass

We're fine without either of them. A top 4 of Myers-Hanifin and Risto-dorov is drooly worthy. Some Sabres fans want Domi on Reinharts line? How about Mitch Marner. Kid is putting up Patty Kane numbers.... 2.5+ points per game. And he is well rounded too. Scores in multiple different ways. Very good skater. Plays both ends of the ice.
