I hope Couturier enjoyed his final offensive zone face-offs tonight

Love the Flyers saying "he is out with an LBI"

That's like saying Kate Upton has curves.

- opeth_pa

I know it's team policy to be vague on injuries, but they really need to be more specific on this one so that fans know if this is year ending/career threatening (although I suspect that even if it's a severed Achilles, he'd eventually be back).

Draws, goals/points, PP quarterbacking -- holy (frank), if he's gone for an extended period

Wow. I cannot even fathom who is gonna do all the poop he does

Nothing definitive on G, but PR staff expects him to talk to press.

- opeth_pa

If he's still at arena, maybe it's just a bad cut and no deep damage?

No one. Their is literally no one on this team and very few players in the league that do as many things as well as he does.

That's what im hoping ..if it was an Achilles cut I would think he wouldn't be talking to anyone.

Yeah. Maybe that's it -- yeah.

A cut or severed Achilles would be brutal. But a deep laceration, even a bad one, he'll miss time but he could/should be fine going forward

Word circulating around #Flyers' locker room is that Giroux "got lucky." No update yet from team.

Exactly. This game is meaningless in that context.

Giroux is fine; probable for Sat

Giroux is coming out to speak now. He is "fine" and probable for tomorrow vs. NJD.

Tomorrow he will be diagnosed with Ebola of the leg and be out for 50 years.

That's what my first thought was. If it was a deep cut, you'd think he'd be off to the hospital.

Kinda what I'm thinking....and if it's 200 stitches he wouldn't be talking either...wishful thinking ? Maybe....but this team has been hard enough to watch....without Giroux ? Oya vey.

Oh, my gosh

That is amazing -- because if people think this poop is bad, let this team play without Giroux for a season

Special socks saved G, Mason says.

Dunno if this is accurate.
