So, based on a job interview, what if Frank Reich ends up being the best candidate?

90% of people on here will cry, cry, cry...

- grand-magus

I don't think too many other teams are knocking down his door right now to pry him from SD. If he happens to be the best candidate who will come here then that's another story

I just want the Bills to win. Frank Reich seems more like a PR move

Vancouver getting outshot 28-10 and leading 2-1

I seriously wonder if Ryan Miller walks into the locker room and asks his team to play poorly in front of him

When Vancouver was only allowing 20-25 shots Miller was getting beat.

Lately Vancouver has been outplayed considerably and Miller is on fire

I have to admit. I would be skeptical...very skeptical.

No QB, no 1st. Reich very well could be the guy who wants to be here.

You know me i'm not a fan of drafting a d high .. i would trade back
- gerbe75pts

Why?
The last couple defensemen that got picked high look pretty good to me. If love to have Jones or Ekblad.
If McDavid & Eichel are gone, Hanifin would be a good pick.

Sti have two other first rounders as well and enough picks to be able to possibly move up for an offensive talent after grabbing Hanifin 3rd

That's a good point
Also, don't rule out prospects we already have in our organization as trading chips. We don't know how Murray feels about these guys, so it'll be interesting to see what moves he does make

i would draft Marner before Hanifin by the season's end he will lock down the 3rd spot imo

I haven't seen him play really, so I don't have much of an opinion on him.
It seems like Murray wants to trade Myers, there's just way too much talk about it out there.
If that's true, we're gonna have to replace him. Doesn't necessarily have to be with that top pick, but we should draft at least one defenseman in the 1st round this year IMO even if we don't trade Myers

I met Hodgson at a gas station. Seemed like a really nice guy.

I said "Hey man good luck this year" he replied "Thanks I appreciate it"

Now looking back, I think I jinxed him

- sbroads24

Did a shot with Hodgson & Foligno last night. Seemed nice enough to me.
Tough to try n figure out what's happened to him this year. He's showed steady progress every year until now. Hopefully he can get back on track. Bc he's prob untradable with his salary. With his kind of talent, he should be able to start finding the net with more consistency.

My take on myers is that right now I think he is very capable of being a #2 dman for many teams. This season he has been playing ok. The problems that I think many people have with him is that he is not good at the really noticeable aspects of a dman. Like a great pp shot or a crunching hit or bullying other players away from the front of the net. for me myers needs to be stronger on the blue lines, use that big reach, and he needs to find a way to unload that shot more on the pp. I think the physicality will come more as he fills out his frame more. 6'7 230 is kinda skinny. If he can pack on 10-15 lbs of muscle, that's about 2 years of heavy lifting, I could see him being a top tier defensive dman in the league. But who knows what will happen.

He's having a very good tournament, that's for sure. I'm glad. I'd be worried if he was invisible out there.

I'm just glad that this is his last year of Jr eligibility. Gives us more freedom to put him where we think is best for his development. Even if it means sending him to Rochester.

Talented for sure, but only 5'10" and like 165. Another Ennis type player, not sure he fits GMTM's player profile from a size perspective. Kid has wheels and skills to kill though.

Well, seeing as he picked him and all..

Not worried at all about the kid. He's gonna bulk up in the years to come.

I hope Moron goes to the Jets...so the Bills can beat up on him twice a year.

Any word on Hackett getting canned yet, I suppose that waits for the new HC, but I would love for them to send the message now...that stink just doesn't cut it here.

Listening to Nolan on GR this morning, the more he is around, the more I like him as our coach.
