I hate to be the debbie downer but they keep having lapses like that this will be a recurring theme. The rest of our division and conference is playing at another level. So far we havent been able to match it for 60 minutes. The refs screwed us a few times tonight but oretty much gave us the extrapoint at the end there. Surprised that was a double minor.

Not a debbie downer but not playing on a pump and a high and now they are a well scouted ream so more experienced clubs can play well against them. Still a good team but not as much room for luck, they have to keep working for wins.

I feel they'll right the ship. Special teams has to be a priority for the coaching staff. The PK looked a little bit better tonight.. Have to get their shat together. I know they scored twice on the pp but that pp ain't firing on all cylinders. This sounds crazy but I think people know what im saying

It's a nice accomplishment but it won't last for long if they don't change the way they're playing. I'm looking a little farther down the road.

Agreed. I'm not going to go nuclear about the blown lead tonight. If you told me before the game that the Isles would win in OT, I'd be happy with that. If you told me before the game they'd blow another three-goal lead, I'd be pissed. Both happening? Fine, I'll take it. Better than only getting a point, which would have been better than getting nothing at all, which is probably how it would have went last year.

He gave an unconvincing scripted post-game interview and gave props to his coaches for "finding ways to motivate them" in those tough times...and skated off the ice.
