Virtanen has looked good on a stacked team, but I still wish we had taken Ehlers. That guy can fly.

I was very impressed with virtanens skating ...looked like he was another level above everyone out there

I was impressed with his physical presence. Not many guys who are high e d scorers take the body that aggressively

He is the first prospect the canucks have had in years who I can seriously say scares me to play against ...i think he will be that guy you hate to play against

With all the failed Power Forward reclamation projects here the last 10 years, and the question marks around Kassian, I'm happy to have a blue-chip Power Forward in the bank.

We turned the other way when it came to drafting or recruiting Power forwards. We continued to get Euro style pansy asses. Lucic was right in our back yard but who did we select instead.

At least with Benning he is starting to draft size and chippiness.

Although I don't post much I'm always lurking. A couple of observations,
Vantel sometimes you're hilarious, four months you lucky basturd, it's been years since I've enjoyed that, but the other benefits are just as good.

Roland, I thought that was well written until you wanted a life size Sedin portrait while making sex with .....? Is this a Nucker...Kesler fantasy?

He is also probably gonna end up about 15lbs heavier then Nash.
I'm just comparing their styles

I was thinking more like an E Kane with his size about the same ,and maybe the same style of play.

I see Nash more of a Big Motha that no one can stop when he decides to play.

Either comparable if JV is similar fans won't complain

After watching the pre-tourney games, I wasn't quite sold on his skills, yeah he had a pretty goal against the Swiss, but I wasn't as jacked as I was hoping.

Yesterday I was impressed, he's playing fourth line, doesn't have all the top notch forwards to play with, but, he makes the most out of every shift whether throwing body checks or setting up quality chances he's there to be the best he can every shift. I remember one shift where even he speed impressed me, he doesn't look like a fast skater but he has really long strides that seems to catch the opposition unprepared. It will be more telling when they play the Finns and U.S.

I prefer Latinas. I'm not into dudes but each to their own. I know I shouldn't troll my own forum but I couldn't resist.
