Nino demanded a trade. That's moving out a problem. Now if you want to talk about how his development was handled, that I have an issue with. Any time you move out a problem it's difficult to get fair value and at the time he was moved he had 2 nhl goals in around 80 games. No one is giving you good value at that point.

Oh I'm not saying I liked that situation. They never should have given Nino that full year buried on the fourth line. That was beyond stupid. He was mishandled all the way along and I wish they hadn't done that, but as soon as he asked for a trade and made it public he was worth a lot less in a trade. Can't say I'm unhappy with Clutterbuck, he's a good pker and he's part of a useful fourth line, but it was the way they mishandled Nino that still bothers me.

*edit- he also draws a fair amount of penalties
