It'd be an easy call.

The size and skill package are intriguing, if they're top 5, but outside top 3, I want Zacha

Yup even more impressed with Zacha's team losing yesterday he went down to block a shot without any hesitation.

He's not going to be Chris Pronger and if that's people's measuring stick, they should find a new one.

Just coming out of junior hockey, alone, Pronger was a point per game player as a defenseman for two straight years. He wasn't just a punishing hitter and all of those other things that Morin does to remind people of Pronger. Pronger was also an acknowledged leader coming out of junior hockey, if considered a bit of a loud mouth. His offensive game was light years beyond what Morin's is now.

A much better comparison might actually be Zdeno Chara.

So I think the Pronger thing also comes from the fact that Pronger was so involved in his pick. AND the kid does look like a young Pronger. I still think the reality is it is too early to know whether he is a 7, a 3/4, or a top pair guy. But he appears to have some very attractive physical tools.

His best attribute, in my opinion, is presented in an article I read that said he stayed after every practice and tanked 100 one timers from the point because people said that was his biggest weak point.

Mikko Rantanen one to watch for the draft having a good start for Finland in the WJC.
- ob18

Brought him up as my pick weeks ago!

Finland losing 2-1 to SVK in the 2nd. Kind of surprised.

But he's the only player to score for Finland in the WJC, not his fault nobody else is stepping up.

He looks good and took a pretty big hit that period without much concern.

I like him. Kapanen is doing poop. I only saw that 2nd, haven't noticed Hagg once. Pretty sure that's kind of his game though.

Haha on second thought. That would be because Hagg is Swedish.

He's made a mistake, but the Preds seem to have found another goalie in Saros. 4th round 2013.

Knapp recalled by the phantoms to back up Ouellette. Comrie called up as well, since Alt got injured again.

Figures, Zepp goes to the big club giving stolarz a chance to play more and of course he gets injured. He was playing awesome hockey too.

Puljujarvi (sp?)

Sleeper Finnish pick. 17 in May of next year, 6 foot something and 200 something pounds already.

Skilled forward.
