Of course goaltending is the issue... Just like it was when we had Dubnyk, who is clearly struggling right now... Scrivens had horrible numbers in LA... I don't know why we got him in the first place!!!

Yes, whats your point? So was Fasth. Dubnyk has trended into backup territory. We haven't had an awesome #1 goalie since Roloson.

This season is a wash. I think next year may be better. Hopefully they give a one-year contract to Fasth depending on the rest of the season goes. There's no way the Oilers are that bad of a goaltending blackhole.

The goalies are playing far worse than they should be. Maybe it's lack of confidence in the team in front of them and some blame is definitely on the defense but some of the mistakes that plague them might just stem from the goaltending coach that was here.

Scrivens should stop playing the puck but he continues to do so, is it lack of confidence in his defense or was he being told to try to keep the plays alive?

Any way you cut it this team is (frank)ed.
