This is only the 2nd time I haven't gotten to change mine this year. Doesn't matter, because I'm having a terrible year anyway.

I didn't touch my computer all weekend. Had other things to do.

it compromises the value of the league, doesn't affect you but indirectly affects others that commit each week to produce a quality team

by taking a week or 2 "off" you may alter who makes the post season and perhaps who wins the entire thing

It's fantasy sports. If anyone is taking it that seriously, they may need to re-evaluate a few things.

It was also mentioned that sending him back to Jr wasn't going to allow him to bulk up. It's impossible to ask a guy to play top minutes AND put weight on. We'll be lucky if he's the same weight at the end of the year that he was coming into Buffalo. He'll more than likely be lighter at the end of the season than he was at the beginning. It's just how it goes. The offseason is the time guys use to bulk up for the next year.

esp when you include the world jr.s and a deep playoff run

there will be no excuse why the sabres and rochester players can't put weight on this off season though

I had a busy weekend. Made cookies with my roommate on Friday, was gone almost all day Saturday finishing up shopping, going to the Sabres game and then DD's Ugly sweater party. Went to a friend's house on Sunday to watch football. Then came home and had to work on wrapping gifts.

side note, with the win last night, there was next to no chance the bills make the playoffs even if they won out

is E.J. the QB yet for Sunday?

4th period has Hall to buffalo trade proposals that look like...
Myers, Hodgson, (a goalie), + a pick + prospectThat's a lot...
But I'm pretty sure I'd do it
As long as the 1st is from StL & the prospect is Larsson (or someone comparable)

Obv don't WANT to move Myers,
But I think Risto can play defense in the Top Pair on the right side & Pysyk can be our defenseman on the 2nd pair RH side

I especially make this trade if we pick 3rd
(Take Hannifin)

- jdfitz77

You make the trade above if you are also looking to almost assure yourself of a top 2 pick due to how bad, IMO, the defense would look with the two young guys having to anchor it.

I dont expect him to get much bigger unless he has a big growth spurt. Its kind of weird that his brother Griffen is 6'4 (different parent?) but Max is the exact same size as Sam.

I started out 3-5 in a money fantasy football league this year, all bad beats

ran the table from there out and won the league

They didn't have a pic with a longer URL?

Went with a survivor pool in football for the first time this year, currently in 4th place. Not bad... f'ing St Louis killed me this year though.

That happens. I have 5 uncles on my mom's side of the family and while most of them are around the same stature of 5'10-5'11, one of them is 6'4.

Sheesh were you bad this year?

PS, how many people can you name who you spent less on than your dog for christmas?

Counting only people who would have some expectation of a gift from me, I'm at around 15.

I'm probably at around 10. It could be more. Does me taking him for a bath last weekend count as a gift?

"Baseball present" maybe.

The neighbor's dog Luna broke into our yard again yesterday so she and Guth ran around for about 2 hours. He got a bath when he came back inside for sure.

Gunner isn't a huge fan of getting a bath and he's too big for me to try to do it anymore. But if the bath doesn't count, then it's around 10. If it does, it's way more than that.

Getting Guth's 80lb frantic ass into the tub ain't fun, but I wouldn't subject someone else to it.

Gunner doesn't weigh that much. He's probably 60-65 lbs. But that's still too much for me to be hauling him in there. Plus when he goes for a bath he gets his ears cleaned, teeth brushed, and nails trimmed. It's well worth the $50. The place I take him will trim his nails between baths at no charge too.
