No way. Package a 1st with Pysyk or someone else and get a good winger.

Hall gets hurt a lot

- sbroads24

If hall was in the East he would be fine IMO .. he would be awesome in the east

nows the time to get him before edmonton oilers get off the drugs lol..

he could be our own corey perry

They won't trade Hall for anything short of the messiah reborn on skates if you ask any of them.
- kingcong39

Every fan base does that. Its brutal reading trade proposals from fans, doesnt matter which team.

What exactly are our options with cody hodgson? Hes making 4m, 4.5m, 5m, 5.5m over the next four years. He doesnt fit. Its gonna be really hard to move him without somebody elses bad contract coming back. Theres no more buyouts. Can we bury him in rochester like morrison and kotalik or did they close that loophole?

Those odds seem to happen to us pretty often. Thats two games now in the past three that we had to rely on a onside kick with no timeouts to try and win the game.

We were put into that position because of the HC. We have a kickoff specialist that cant even get a touchback. LIKE WTF? Doug needs to be canned

- Smittyx36

List of needs (imo):

Offensive coordinator
two guards
quarterback
cornerback

don't care what happens with marrone...could take him or leave him

The compliance buyouts- like ville leino are over. Had to be used up this past summer.

Edit- capgeek has a buyout program for any player. It looks like we could buy out hodgson in june and he would count for just under $800,000 a year against the cap for the next 8 seasons. Fyi. Sounds kind of like the yashin deal except that cody is under 26 (in june) so its only 1/3 of his contract being amortized against twice the term- instead of 2/3 if he was over 26.

The best two options are to (A) put him on a line with players that mesh with his skill set to permit him to flourish (B) include him in a package for Hall if there is a way to make it happen.

He played a very Pysyk-esque game last night.

Nothing flashy. We need guys like him back there.

- HonkFortheGoose

This.

Pysyk will be the glue that holds this defense together. Makes the right play, seemingly every time.

Agreed. For all the reasons I don't like Ted Nolan, I have always thought he did a very good job and option A until lately.

Sorry man but we were there because of one player..... #18
- sbroads24

Disagree. We have a terrible run game as well. Cant expect Orton who is mediocre at best to do it all.

I never expected anything from him. He's not mediocre, he's bad. Yes the run game sucks, the line is awful, and the play calling is blah. However the one position that can virtually make all those other faults disappear is the QB position, and we have 2 very bad ones

Correct. Ortons complete immobility made it easy for Oakland to T-off on both the run and pass game. Also the whole "everyone get a turn" at RB each game is stupid.

Morris Titanic.

Although, Dudacek actually never set foot on US soil to play for Buffalo, so there's that. Way to go, Scotty!
