I assume the Devils to be way out of it by deadline time. Unless of course the Metro keeps playing a sick joke on us and somehow keeps us relevant enough for Lou to act as if we're going to sneak in. I'd love to trade Jagr (with the intent of getting him back in the offseason ), Zid and Ryder right at this moment. Jagr and Zid are two players that actually keep us in games goal scoring wise. We need to lessen those goal totals even more and contend for that #1 pick. it's the only way the devils become relevant again in the next 5 years.

I agree in terms of this draft being even stronger but weird things always happen so you need to keep your standards high incase a team comes in and does feel desperate. Elias also has a year left on his deal so at the end of the day I don't know if that helps him fetch a better return or if it hurts it because he will be another year older lol.

At this point, I don't hold any lingering animosity to Jagr, and I suspect most reasonable Pens fans don't either. That said, I'd just as much be content to avoid the hockey media circus that would go along with Jagr's return to Pittsburgh....

-"Who will he replace on the top power play?"
