True but nobody is giving up a top prospect or a 1st rd pick for him. Like I said a 3rd rd pick and maybe a mid level prospect would get it done. GM's do get crazy around the deadline so you never know I guess but I would be shocked if it was anymore then what I stated |

Why does Lou care about that though ? He is still more valuable here then a crap return would be. I also haven't seen anything on either gm or player even considering it so for that matter why would they move him just because a team wants him ? You don't just get rid of him for nothing because that's what other teams want to pay. He isn't being shopped so why are we the ones settling on price ? I mean if a team doesn't like it they can feel free to say no we are likely getting a top five pick with our very own this year so that easily eases the burn of potentially losing jags for nothing to retirement or f.a. |
