The only way we can burn it to the ground is if we do new everybody from management down. I'm not gonna trust the same people to rebuild it who tore it down in the first place.

From my own personal pride and simply just being sick of this poop I want to say to do whatever needs to be done to get better ASAP.

If McDavid will truly be as great as everyone says than this might be the move to make to be competitive for longer.

Try to get better ASAP. How many 18 year old kids can we honestly expect to be the guy? Time to get some players who give a (frank) about winning and will put in the required work to do so. Enough of these guys like Eberle who are only noticeable when they score.

A for me. No one wants to come here that could really help. Secure 1st or 2nd then trade Ebs Yak Perron to fill holes and pray we get some quality from UFA. Thing is how will Hall react when McDavid gets all this hype and his attitude towards the organization of sucking since he joined the NHL.

I think Nurse has a legit shot of making this team and making an impact. If we could resign Petry all we would need would be 2 more defenders to round out the top 4. Klefbom could make it and so could Marincin.

I think the McDavid talk is pointless.... odds are he doesn't even come to EDM (the odds are evened out this year meaning it's very unlikely you can bet on any team to get him)

I'd resign Petry. Bring up Nurse next season. Trade for a Dman that can log big minutes/and or with that bring in a veteran back there (Methot would have been a great target... his injury is weird) but man he's a good d-man when he's playing

I'd prefer Yandle. He's the 3rd best offensive d-man the last 5 years. Getting the puck up to those forwards (with a steady d-partner) big increase

100% Bubba. I dont think we would need to add more than a 2nd for a Yak for Yandle deal either. Especially if they dont see themselves extending him past next year.

He's an offensive guy who can't score. He has as many points as Petry who is not an offensive defenseman.
