As a coach? Or a GM? What specifically. I think he's just observing and cheerleading and letting Nelson run the bench. - Jeropotato
Was he on the bench today? I didn't notice him. |

Chin up man. Hopefully you get to see family and friends over xmas. I had a good friend during high school that I hadn't seen in a few years take his life a few months ago was really poopty. Had issues with drugs and booze. Was a good person though. - time2produce
It was his Mom ,dude. Never a good time of year for that day to come. |

Yup. Chewing gum and looking like he's aged 20 years since he was last coach. |

For sure. I would almost be willing to trade the first but we will finish bottom 2 most likely and way to much talent in Eichel and McDavid.
I have been very disappointed in the goalies this year but why would you play Scrivens again? Why not use Yak in the shootout? Why call up Lander and just send him back down he didn't play that bad, why break his confidence he was gaining in the AHL then. Why not let Leon go to Worlds and play less competition and gain confidence? Why have Hunt instead of MM? - time2produce
Here's the thing with "talent". Pens have two of the most talented Centers in the game with Crosby and Malkin, it's resulted in two finals, one cup, and I don't see us getting another with them unless we get some breaks this year.
You don't have to have the most talented players to win, but you need a solid team. Trade the pick and get the players you need to compete even if it means sacrificing the "generational talent" ( I hate that phrase). |

Well I don't understand the Lander demotion, might be more to it but... I don't understand the Draisaitl handling right now. I'm hoping he does something soon, we could use a stop-gap center and a new goalie. |

Easy to say when you have 2 generational talents on your team. Would you trade one? |

Yeah it's strange. One thing is the roster freeze so he can go back without being waived, correct? Or was he waiver except? I dunno, I'm grasping. |

Should have watched the Oilers game, pure comedy.
It is funny tho, the Oilers lose, Again, and not that many of us are pissed off. I was livid a few weeks ago but now I'm desensitized again. - Jeropotato
Its just sad. We cant even say there isn't a problem with scoring anymore. This is the first game we have scored more than 3 goals in a game in the last 12 or 13. |

Yup. If we don't win it all this year I'd have no problem trading Malkin for a good package
We're too top heavy (kinda like the Oilers) and I see the defense becoming our strong point in about two years if the kids keep improving (Letang, Maata, Despre, Pouliot, Harrington, Doumilin - all good puck movers). |

I'm not sure, it's not like OKC plays over the holidays anyways. On a side note Marincin wore an A the other day down there. |

Yeah there's an internal program starting up but its a few years away. If The meantime go see a guy named Tim and asks who delivers his flowers. If you can do better they can use the service.
Also , flying off the handle is just one my things, don't even try to calm me down or it will get worse, champ. |

Wanna read something depressing? The Oilers are on pace for 50 points while the Ducks already have 49. |
