My thoughts exactly. Eakins went out of his way to undermine the kids confidence. I was fearful upon learning that MacT would return behind the bench as he has shown blind favouritism to foot soldiers... cough Liam (frank)ing Reddox... or Toby Peterson.
It would seem that has not changed... but hey, Brad Hunt is really coming into his own. - OilDerek
Were you complaining when he leaned on Horcoff, Stoll and Peca? (frank), we need more guys like Girdon and Hendricks. |

Surprise of the year for me is the Panthers. Lou is really doing good which I didn't think would happen. Ekblad has looked really good. I do think Leon will be a really good player and have more faith in him than Yak. Ekblad though would have been awesome with Nurse coming up. - time2produce
Funny how many people talked out their ass about him before the draft, saying not to take him, and now there's nobody running their mouth cause the kid is a stud. I wish we could've drafted him. |

100 percent. With Lander sent down does Leon go to the wing? Lander has 8 pts in almost 100 games. If you re undecided about Arco it is safe to say you are sure lander will never be an NHL regular |

He'll be good, but it remains to be seen if he stacks up with Nurse, Jones, Trouba, Murry and the lot at 26 or 27. He's gonna get there sooner due to his freakish size , but will he be better? |

He did have 6 of our 29 shots and he was 69% in the dot. I didn't think he played bad but why not give him more time? |

I hope Nurse turns out but with Ekblad also things would really be going in the right direction. Now imagine if we could have got Boychuk, Leddy, Hiller. Really losing the faith I had in Scrivens and Fasth. Either would be reasonable back ups but don't see them as a starter in there careers. Best goalie in the league one night and the worst the next three games. Sure better D would help but Scrivens makes the dumbest plays with the puck. Seriously stay in you re net. |

I'd say he's already the best of the ones you've named. His game has translated well to the NHL. |

McDonald's wants to trim down their menu to look healthier and cleaner or some poop. Also on the chopping block are the ability to large size and apple pies. Already using the trimmed down menu around the world but are bringing it to North America. I'm not sure why the Tim Bits are being cut but it has to do with the fact Burger King owns them now. |

Hard shot and accurate and has size he is the real deal. Nurse will be good also but Ekblad just has to many good things in his game. I hope Nurse makes the Oilers next year but not if he isn't ready. Leon should have waited a year but there has been a lot of players who excelled there first years and didn't fit the bill the next (yak, nuge) hopefully Leon gets better next year. Center is a hard position as a rookie. Seguin struggled his first few years and is on pace for 65 goals this year. Don't think he will get that many but no denying he is one of the best players in the league. Poor Boston. |
