Wow if I hadn't seen this video I would never believe he was that good in a shootout. Kind a over does the leg kick but it seems to work for him. Nuge was so close. The Oilers must be so frustrated. Lander has been good in the AHL this year. That is the AHL though. Why not try and give Yak some confidence. If Yak buried it and won the game could get him outta his slump. Who cares if Lander scores he will be back in the AHL soon worry about you re NHL regulars.

Surprise of the year for me is the Panthers. Lou is really doing good which I didn't think would happen. Ekblad has looked really good. I do think Leon will be a really good player and have more faith in him than Yak. Ekblad though would have been awesome with Nurse coming up.

My thoughts exactly. Eakins went out of his way to undermine the kids confidence. I was fearful upon learning that MacT would return behind the bench as he has shown blind favouritism to foot soldiers... cough Liam (frank)ing Reddox... or Toby Peterson.

It would seem that has not changed... but hey, Brad Hunt is really coming into his own.
