I kind of do as well, only because he's an Ex-Blue. I have no animosity toward him personally. He seems to be a decent fellow.
Anyone know how he got his front teeth knocked out? - bcallaway
I was thinking it had something to do with Cuba Gooding Jr.
I may be wrong.... |

It was in a Blues practice I believe. He was in front of the net for a power play drill haha. |

Me, me, me. I'll take a turn.
GDT: Blues @ Colorado Tonight at 7
Where: Pepsi Center
TV: NBCSN
Key Injuries for Blues — Jaden Schwartz, Carl Gunnarsson and Brian Elliott are all out for the foreseeable future.
Avalanche: Semyon Varlamov, Ben Street, Jamie McGinn, D Ryan Wilson and Jesse Winchester are out
Blues are third in the Central Division with 45 points and Colorado sits dead last in the division with a mere 32 points.
According to the PD, No line up changes for the Blues. Alex Pietrangelo and Jay Bouwmeester will remain on different defensive pairings. Much discussion has gone on about their play.
My thoughts:
*I would like to see more from Paul Stastny, especially in light of Jaden Schwartz's absence. Might we get to see Stastny remain with Berglund and Jaskin and form some actual chemistry?
*Anybody else tired of Erik Johnson scoring his only goals against the Blues?
*Jake Allen in goal again tonight, I'm happy about this. He's made big save early in games, we need to see a consistent 60 minutes from him. Great saves followed by soft goals kind of cancel each other out.
*A lot's been made of the Blues losing third period leads in the previous two games. San Jose stated their game plan specifically was to stay out of the penalty box and don't allow the Blues time on the Power Play. I would say that was a good strategy.
*Patrick Roy's face gets red when he gets mad. This can only mean he suffers from high blood pressure. - bcallaway
Well done!
I think Roy's red face will play an important role in this game. Meanwhile I keep wondering how long Hitch's mechanical heart will keep running. I a guessing he goes to the same robot shop as Richard Cheney for part replacements. With how tight NHL benches are does it hurt a team on the bench when the man's gut hangs into the benches? |

I ahev the animosity twoards him of thanks for being such a foop and trying to play in college instead of at least the CHL. It was nice seeing him in a key development year barely be n the ice for Minnesota while a couple of players behind him were playing in the NHL. Toews. Toews. Toews. How strange it all would be if EJ was not the top pick then. We would probably still have some issues as we would most likely not have gotten Petro but would have drafted back further which could have meant Karlson?
I felt bad for EJ. |

Johnson always did have a knack for putting the puck in the Blues net.

This team just looks uninterested, like they just don't care anymore. I think Hitchcock's words are falling on deaf ears and it is time he goes.. |

Look at this defensive play! I just watched Petro skate by a guy who he should have hit and skate away from him.
Ott on the second line. Sweet. He has great leadership they said....on a last place team. |

Pathetic....I can't understand this team. The line combos make no sense, they turn the puck over way to much. Another flop showing on national t.v..On a different note, Merry Christmas to you all. Do you guys think this is a sort of call out of the coach tonight? They are just playing like don't even care. |

Plus 1. I was just coming to post this very thing. When they try to clear the puck and the wing is slow to react and the d is slow to react, they are unsure of who should get it or sluggish because they're down on themselves.
I hope, in the post game, Hitch pumps tires.
Talbot dives... |

Alright. I'm done. Not their night. It's a tough skid in December before the dog days in January/ February. Hopefully, they're the ones taking advantage then... |

If Hitcock is not fired after this game I refuse to go to another game until he is gone. This is just an implosion that the entire league is watching |

Have to love Talbot. Puts his head down, skates backwards into someone, then lays on the ice like he is hurt trying to buy a call, but doesn't miss a shift, is shown laughing 30 seconds later on the bench. This sort of crap needs to start getting suspended. |

Be ready to not go to a game for a long time then. And how is the entire league watching on a night when 22 of the teams are playing exactly? |

GM's go to their own games. And they don't make up the entirety of the league. |

You know what I mean. They do have DVR Obviously I didn't mean that every GM in the league was at home drinking a rum and coke watching the Blues flop, so get off my balls joking btw lol don't get offended |
