This slump the team is on could turn out to be disastrous. I didnt see tonights game but from what i can tell Vasilevskiy played lights out and there was little to no help from the team. I was able to catch yesterdays game though and saw some glaring problems. One of them was a long stretch patch out of the d zone which happened at least 5 times in the third period and got picked of every time(pretty uncharacteristic, I dont see us doing it much more). Second thing was our powerplay was much to predictable. We have to stop doing drop passes in the nuetral zone and instead carry the puck into the zone with our speed and skill. After we get it into the zone we have to SHOOT the puck. I dont know what this teams problem is with trying to get the perfect pass/play on the powerplay, but it happens way to damn often. Shoot the puck low and hard, crash the net, create some chaos rather than just passing it around the perimeter of the ice the whole time just to get your shot blocked when you finally decide to shoot it. It is unnaceptable that this has scored only 1-3 goals in the last ten+ games. Coopers gotta light a fire under these guy's asses cause getting complacent is the last thing we need. I would find it insane if Vasilevskiy didnt get a roster spot over Nabakov after tonights performance. I also think shipping Nabakov and Carle out of here would do this team wonders. Phew, there my rant is over, needed to get that out

This is starting to get old.
Waive J.T. And if he passes send him down and bring Vlad back up.
Sit Carles butt in the press box for a week
Stop the long breakout passes they leave no gap control getting up the ice
Start checking some people we have Big D but they don't scare anyone
Start shooting the puck the pretty plays are nice but that many passes to get an open shot usually result in the puck going up ice
Get the dirty goals, get front of the crease and create something, goalies in this league if they see it they stop it.
The easy part of the season is over the long pretty fast plays are being broken up with good checking against now.
Time to regroup and change up the game plan everyone is looking for the long passes and throwing the body.

I think it's safe to say he's already adjusted to the NA game. He could be pushing Nabby out by the deadline.

Yzerman will send him back. This is the future of our goaltending. We can't rush him.
