I'm good with anything as long as we keep Sestito and Miller.

Looking forward to the discussion tomorrow re. big Tom as Carol mentioned.

If he is on the team, he should be playing more, if they are afraid to play him, then trade or waive him. I want to see more guys get an opportunity to play from the Comets if the regulars aren't getting it done. This might even help with the ntc's limited or not.

I think its time some of these guys got time to check out the press box. I could name a few that need a wake up call. When Hansen is your best player things need to get stirred up.

That is the problem with having Sestito and not playing him. They send him to Utica for a conditioning stint and then recall him early to put him back in the prss box. Fecked up.

It limits options - player movement. Vey could do with a little time in the press box. Sbisa and Weber should not have a lock on d jobs even though Hamhuis is hurt.

Wonder what the logic is.

I wonder if WD would put Bieksa in the box for a game given how poor his play has been?

Weber for sure. I have liked and see the progress that Sbisa is making. Sibs is coming around and I don't think he is hurting the team right now.

Sestito well what can I say he probably isn't getting ice time for a reason.

Vey has the skills but he has serious breakdowns too often.

Absolutely. The team gets younger with good talent, plus Vancouver's supporting depth (and defence remaining) is far superior to Edmonton. Hell, Bieksa would be a 1D in Edmonton

We'd have to take Lowe and Mactavish though.

Comparable to the others. I've gotta decide between about 5 offers now and I'm bad at decisions

Oh I didn't know you were involving other people. I thought this was just between you and I. I feel used now.

Sbisa is similar to Bieksa where he looks okay and then has a brain fart with the puck. However, they are our most physical dmen.

Either way with Sestito, play him once in a while, trade him or waive him. How can we be on this losing streak and not have some roster changes?

I know they want to play through it, maybe that is the answer with playing WD's new system. They don't look like the same team that started the year.

Maybe with some practices they can get back on track. Once they are in the offensive zone lately, they stand around too much waiting for someone to make a play.

Maybe I should start drinking earlier today?

Believe it or not, me putting out on the boards that a premier player is available garners a lot of interest

Kevin Bieska, premier 1st pairing D, with offensive upside. A standup guy and fights for his teammates. Smooth skater with a bomb of a shot, and available for the right price. The winner will also get lifetime admiration and thumbs up from Cherry.

i have some good news and some good news.

1) after a 5 game losing streak we are still 2nd in our Division. 11th overall in the NHL

2) we are only 6pts away from getting a top 10 pick in the NHL draft.

i'm more of a glass half full guy.

- Mungo

Its all good. I've been saying since the summer... win win. We either beat everyone's expectations including our own or end up in a good to fantastic draft position in a very deep draft.

What Ive done is take that half glass of water and pour it into a smaller glass and declare it's full.
