If they're that worried about the cap, they wouldn't want Burrows. They may not love Marchand and might have to deal Krug, but thee's better deals out there.

Only Vrbata could add scoring to the Bruins

Sounds like they're talking out of their asses as usual. I love how a lot of people(not you, but others on HF are really all-in on this) just assume everything they say is true just because they're on radio.

Jensen for Joe Morrow is basically a swap of two prospects at a similar stage. Both have played in the AHL but haven't cracked the NHL as regulars.

I wake up early, lay in bed with the radio on, they were giving away some cash and tickets earlier in the week... exercise equipment today, and I guess that with the rumour sounded less appealing as the morning went on.

You are right about the rumors, just like wives and match making, guys sitting around having a coffee and seeing who should hook up for a trade.

I guess Morrow is a dman and a little depth there wouldn't hurt but wont necessarily impact the club today... Was thinking it was Brendan when I first read it.

I could see the B's being interested in Bonino. He's locked into a very favorable contract for the next 3 years. B's will be screwed next year with the cap not going up much and still having to sign a bunch of young guys. Maybe they go with a guy like Bonino who is cheap and allow them to afford to keep some of those other guys. Maybe at the cost of a guy like R. Smith etc

I didnt say they would do it straight up . I think Corrado would be thrown in .

Matthias Corrado Burrows

Krug Marchand

They cant sign Krug next year, at least with Corrado can buy them another year

- VANTEL

Corrado is going nowhere in Van, agree. Kind of hate to see Matthias and his size go but he would be a fit in Boston.

If they are moving Bonino make it a package deal for Eberle

Richardson or Matthias or a 19 Y/O Horvat as our 2nd line center doesn't exactly get me excited.

why not? He doesn't have a no trade clause and if you're offered a better player I think you have to listen.

Soderberg is playing very well for them, he's one of the reasons why they're looking to clear cap space.

We are slowly getting out of cap/ntc hell. Really don't want to lose Bonino unless - just depends what is coming back.

Linden was talking about going out and evaluating our present prospects and I guess seeing what we really have and should expect. Slow transition with a prospect void- other than Horvat and jury is still out on Vey.

Maybe a team with cap space and youth like Florida would be interested in Burrows with 1.5mil cap hit savings in his last two contract years.

If we moved Bonino, and a 2nd line capable centre doesn't come back, then Richardson would likely be slotted into the 2nd line... draft lottery, here we come.

R. Smith was coached by Willie

i thought that was the main requirements for players we try to acquire.... ex. Vey, Dorsett

If only we didn't have a 19 points lead on CAR and an 18 point lead on EDM with almost half the season gone.

I really don't think this team would be better without Bonino and adding Smith. I don't see Boston trading Smith for our abundance of 2nd/3rd line tweener wingers who are older than him.

As much as I love #tanknation, it's not as likely to to happen this year and there's no chance in hell we finish lower than BUF/EDM/CAR and few other teams.

worst team rarely gets the number one pick.... usually the 2nd or 3rd worst....that's where we need to aim

Supposed to be a deep draft, deeper than last year anyway.

I'd rather be in the playoffs - but only if we look like we belong in the playoffs.

Fragile core.
