Sure, but you have to be the one who tells Bieksa one-on-one that he's going to EDM and has no choice. Let us know how it turns out.

Fecking replace Bieksa with SOB and we'd still have the same defence.

Or add Kassian or other piece.

They really need a 2nd or third line c like Matthias.

I think it would cost Bonino Tanev Lack and a first. I wouldnt do it.

Eberle might be more realistic

The scary thing is that this isn't nearly as much of a joke that it should be.

I'd rather keep Tanev and move Edler... lol, nobody with a ntc wants to go to Edmonton anyway.

Who is better than Bieksa for 4.5 or whatever. Yes he is a nightmare when hes not paired with a stay at home dman and I personally hated him for years but his attitude and positivity is irreplacable. Oshould we go get brooks orpik
- The_Kuze

Bieksa's attitude has always been in question for me. Its always about him. Right now he's upset because people are on his case about his play. He claims people dont know enough to criticize...wtf? He doesnt believe it is justified.

At the end of last season he used playing injured for his horrible end to the season.... gets no medical treatment and runs off to represent Canada at the Spengler. OK Kevin...

The season before exact same thing... poor finish and he claims he finished the season hurt but ran off to the Spengler with out treatment... Kesler said his poor finish was from injury and followed up with surgery and rehab. KB clearly is making up excuses. Get treatment and rest or stfu with the excuses...

Bieksa would often watch a Sedin get targeted with a cheap hit and only ask the player if he wanted to go.... yet if someone annoyingly whacked him in the shins he would chase him down and tumble him...(lately he seems to back his players more)

I know I have always been a minority about how I feel about the guy but so much of his selfishness has been ignored and in its place is the Don Cherry type cliches.

I think there's definitely an element of that but after years of being on the Sabres while still putting up high numbers, even winning a Vezina, is it really worse here? Does Florida really have a better D than we do for Lu to put up those numbers?
- AlexF

Florida's D is much better than ours

I do get the feeling I'd like Bieksa in a non hockey environment. Poker buddy, bar brawling, wise cracking, ... all the good stuff friends do together.

Remember the story of him dropping Federov when they were Moose team mates? We think its really funny but think about it. Bieksa drops a team mate in public over words said to him or drunk behavior from Federov.. At least thats the story I heard. It stinks of "me before team" and just looks really bad to fans in Winnipeg. But hey, thats Beiksa... me first, then team.

i do remember the story of him dropping Federov, but to make the stretch that Bieksa puts himself in front of the team is a bit much.

i'm guessing Federov went after him and Bieksa did his thing, which he's good at doing from time to time.

Still in ICU. Wont be home for Christmas. Is speaking a little more everyday. Walked for the first time yesterday.

Her short term memory is really concerning. She's not on any drugs or anything.

So it scares me when she forgets at 5 o'clock that I was in at 11 and spent two hours with her.

Its going to be a long process. But I have extending family staying with me from out of town. It's always nice to have family around at times like this.
(EDIT Update!
My dads with her right now, Just phoned me and let me talk to her. She sounds amazing today. Wow, Made me tear up.
