This is a rare moment ...Toews actually landed a punch. I hope it didn't go further because Wisniewski is a tough Hombre when it comes to fighting. He is just plain nasty and would have cleaned Toews clock.

Why is Bickell playing ?He could have two goals if he would have the ballds to stay in front of the goal. He is irrelavant at best. Maybe Hossa should be rested for a couple games. Looks like he is hurting or Father Time is catching up to him. He has missed a ton of goals the last ten games or so. Even his defense is starting to look shaky at times. Should not play on the penalty kill. That gives him a little bit more rest. IMO , Hossa would be more effective if he played on the thid line and put Sharp back on line one.

Absolutely right about Wisniewski. A tough, hard ass who unfortunately has a bad knee and an inflated contract. Would still look great in the indianhead

Eastern Conference teams cannot play with Western Conference teams. No way Columbus (or NYI) is that good. Allow interference, holding, and hooking and any team can beat any team. Bettman needs to fix his league - it sucks now!

That adds up to a loser point on this night.

2 shoot goals allowed are the 1st of the year....Craw and Darling have been in shoot out shutout mode...

Shootouts are crapshoots to a large degree. Shooting second the Hawks had about 5 chances to end it...but couldn't. When T & K fail the odds of victory drop significantly.
