So when Killorn is on Stamkos' wing that's the 4th line? - Feds91Stammer

What part of "recently moved to the 1st line" tripped you up? I can't see where the disconnect is |

Tampa wouldn't trade Edmonton Vasya for Hall anyways - Feds91Stammer
Probably not. His NHL games speak for themselves. |

I kinda agree looking at it again. Looch doesn't seem to be Looch anymore, and he'd be the centerpiece. Solderberg as a 2nd line C might be alright. If no Hamilton, then Krug or Seidenberg. Still though yeah... - TheTaoOfSemenko

So last year when Killorn was on a line with Stamkos and MSL that was also the 4th line? Because if he put up 41pts last season on the 4th line he is a (frank)ing stud |

Asides from being a lot better than Killorn at only a year older? Nothing.
How did Perron get involved in this anyways? He had nothing to do with the original convo. Merely deflection because I suspect you know you're overvaluing your players while drastically undervaluing ours. |

wow you're just too stupid to even talk to, it's amazing how you can just make up whatever bullpoop this is supposed to be, out of what I said.
I thought it was pretty straight forward.....
No genius, he was playing on the 4th line, when get this, he was on the 4th line.
Yes he has moved up, yes he played a couple of games on the 1st last year as well, and get this, yes he has also played on the 4th line

Both Killorn and Perron are top 6 but you say Killorn is a 4th liner. That is why I brought Perron into the conversation. Also I don't have players. I am not an owner or GM. |

actually he didn't say anything about Killorn, I said that he was on the 4th line before being promoted to the 1st, then you followed it up with some of the most impressive derp i've seen on this site. |

Semantics. You're equating two players that are on different levels. Perron has gotten 40+ points a number of times. Last year was Killorn's first. Aberration or trending upwards? Who knows but calling him a top 6 player is premature.
and I didn't say he was a 4th liner. You're getting your convos mixed up. |

3rd line player, potential, prospect, prospect. Please tell me how much this improves the Oilers right now, and why TB would laugh and hang up the phone?'
Killorn was only recently moved from the 4th because of injuries, Conolly is a 3rd line player.
are you (frank)ing kidding me? - SpoiledByOil
I said Yzerman hangs up the phone not b/c it's a horrible trade, but b/c it's a horrible trade for Tampa given the current makeup of the team. Connolly has top 6 if not top line skill so just b/c he's on the 3rd now (which is b/c we have so much ridiculous forward depth but I digress) doesn't make him a bad prospect. Of course it is all potential at this point so don't take this as me overvaluing Brett. Killorn is a top 6 forward on most teams, heck all you have to do is rewind a season and he was playing top line with Marty and Stammer. Is he a top line player, no. But he can move up if needed. He's a 200' player, good size, great in the corners and puck retrieval. He has value and to say otherwise is pure ignorance. Koekk's is legitimate top pair but for sure top 4 d prospect. Vasy is best tender prospect or at worst 1A/1B with Gibson. It would be a nice haul for Edmonton. But Hall is NOT what Tampa needs so given the package we would give up that is why Yzerman would hang up the phone.
I have to ask? Why do you care about getting better THIS season. Quite frankly in any deal involving Hall that is not possible. Any Hall deal is about reworking the makeup of the "core" and about improving future seasons.

Killorn has never in his career been a fixture on the 4th line. Maybe during his rookie season but across his career he has spent the absolute majority of his time in the top 6. Hell, even with the forward depth we have THIS season he's not on the 4th line

What's delusional? The numbers and careers speak volumes. You just can't back up your claims so now you resort to ad hominem.
I'd have more regard for your position if you stated: "Trading to Edmonton for Hall doesn't make sense for Tampa Bay" because it doesn't. |

I've never said they have no value, I like Killorn a lot, Connolly not as much. TB is my 2nd favourite team. If the Oilers want to retool or rework the team for the future, Hall is not the piece that would be moved.
I care about getting better now because i'm sick of cheering for a garbage team. |

Very little on the 4th line throughout his ENTIRE career. Having been a season ticket holder since long before his career started I can say that with a high degree of certainty

Maybe just hibernate the rest of the season then. I would be shocked beyond shocked if Hall or Ebs or anyone big were moved before July. |
