who gives a poop? that's probably one of them.

the other, buried deep in the recesses of my brain, is unbridled furious rage.

Eh, I know there's some doom and gloom, but the Flyers have some good pieces. Mason looked good, is that his usual self? (I have no idea... rarely get to watch Philly).

Also, for those bummed out about losing to an "AHL goalie", bear in mind that Vasilevskiy was the AHL player of the month, has a been a brick wall for a while now, and is heralded as the best goalie prospect on the planet... so, sure he plays in the AHL usually... but he's already better than some NHL starters. Well, what some teams pass off as NHL starters, anyways...

Yup, that's the usual Mason. He's been really solid so far this year and basically since we acquired him. The defense/team defense in front of him on the other hand...

I was at the game tonight and was looking forward to seeing Vasilevskiy for the first time. Kid looked fantastic and has a bright future. Was very impressed by his puck handling too.

I'm still not sure what Berube is doing putting RJ and Rinaldo on the PP. Why not Raffl, PEB? Hell, VDV would be an upgrade.

I can't see them moving Hall without getting a stud D man/stud D prospect coming back. The Bolts don't really have either.

No doubt about it but do you think Tampa would really consider moving him, even for a guy like Hall? Man, that would be tough.

for the record, i dont see them moving hall at all. i dont see them moving anyone.

the lighting dont have a stud dman per se, but they have some interesting prospects, especially a few with size.

they also have drouin, who is pretty much more of the same in edmonton, but still has value.

they have mega need in net though, and continuously lose games because they cant even approach leaguewide average goaltending. this guy seems to be the real deal. the best young tender going.

definitely tough. but hall and stamkos for the next however long could be intriguing as hell.

i think all teams are pretty much not able to bring themselves to move these kinds of pieces, but its at least interesting to ponder.

Seriously. If not for a deflection he had no chance at, it would have been a relatively easy shutout for him too. Outside of a few really nice saves in the 1st, he wasn't tested too often. I look forward to watching him a lot down the road.
