This talk of Taylor Hall being a bad guy in the room and uncoachable, reminds of the same nonsense that was spewed about Tyler Seguin. Think the Bruins regret that deal?

Maybe, but Edmonton would laugh at that deal.

That deal would be insane for the Flyers to do. Way too much for 1 player.

I think they should regret it. Certainly could use the top goal scorer in the league. But sequin is a good player to compare what is needed to trade to land Hall, except Hall will bring more of a return

Been hearing stories like that for a while now. Somebody'll still overpay, but these articles won't help the Oilers' cause.

Depends on what the deal is. I'd be pretty confident in saying that one of Morin or Sanheim would have to go the other way, and I'd balk at that.

If only Seguin could have returned a 6th dman/healthy scratch to the Bruins instead of Eriksson, and Reilly Smith. Egg on Chiarelli's chrome dome.

I'd really like to think they will win tonight, but we all know what will happen. The Bolts will bring some goalie up and of course, he will shut the Flyers out in his first game.

Yup. Keep the young core, players and prospects, unless you can get a proven #1 defender.

Like you wouldn't be crying about it in every thread if Holmgren had traded the league's leading scorer for 2nd/3rd liners.

I was unaware that attendance at Flyers games was compulsory.

On the other hand, thats one way to keep the building at max capacity.

I think I approve.

My co-worker is a season ticket holder with some sweet seats behind the net so I usually go to 2 or 3 a year. Plus my wife is a Flyers fan. I still love her in spite of her flaws.

FWIW:
•Dave Isaac of the Courier-Post: Flyers Vincent Lecavalier will be a healthy scratch again tonight (against the Lightning).

“It’s not just because it’s Tampa,” Lecavalier said after Monday’s practice. “I just want to play. I said pretty much everything last week. There’s nothing to say. Practice hard and be ready mentally if I get a chance to play.”

Both Flyers GM Ron Hextall and Lecavalier’s agent have been trying to find a new home for him. There doesn’t seem to be a market for Lecavalier unless the Flyers take back some salary, and so far Hextall is not willing to do so. Lecavalier has a no-movement clause, so if they tried to bury him in the minors, he’d have to approve the move.

Erikkson has had 3 consecutive seasons of 70+ points on his resume, and Smith is 23 and has a 20 goal, and 50 point season under his belt. They are 2nd/3rd liners huh?

Wish the Flyers had second and third liners like this.

Eriksson has really struggled since arriving. He's had some bad luck with injuries. He isn't the same player he was in Dallas. Stars definitely won that trade, but there's no guarantee Seguin blossoms while with Boston.

To get Hall I think you would have to give up Coburn, Simmonds or Schenn and probably Hagg. You might be able to make a bigger deal and get Shultz if you include a first rounder. They have seemed to sour on shultz.

I like hall and think he would be one player I would risk trying to make a deal for but you also can't ake a foolish deal. Would this work?

They both have 15 points this season. We do have 2nd and 3rd liners like that.

At least the splinters didn't pierce his heart.
