Is he keeping that job for the rest of the year? Been in trial and have been a little out of the loop.

I am not sure the rest of the year. I think at least until one of the assistants is ready to take over on an interim basis. But I could be wrong.

Smart GMs treat their players like assets, which they are. And assets should be treated similar to stocks. You buy low and sell high. If a stock crashes and hits a low value, you hold it and wait for it to improve.

The only problem is sometimes those assets hit so low that they actually become a sunk cost. Might be better just to eat your losses and let something else take its place. Not saying that is Yakupov's case but just in general. Actually it is how I am feeling about Tanner Glass haha

I think our fanbase includes some of the dumbest fans in the entire league, and many of them have their own blogs. (Not Jan)

Thanks for the kind words. Glad I am viewed as level-headed and fair to all sides. You know my view on trade possibilities and proposals. If not, I don't like writing about them and speculating like crazy until it seems even remotely likely it will occur. Not about to get into proposal after proposl for Hall etc., I leave that to others.

trade proposal on facebook:

Timothy Hugle Jr: J. Moore and a draft pick. For Hall. I don't care if they need a winger. If that's the case. J.Moore and staal. 2 defenseman and a draft pick. I'm happy with everyone else. Of anything. A winger from the wolfpack that we use every so often.

Didn't realize the Rangers are 5-1-3 vs the West this year. With that one loss coming against Edmonton when they played their worst game of the year.

Yeah, that guy is a damn idiot. Clearly, we need to use J. Moore and that draft pick to acquire Tavares, and not waste those assets in a trade for Hall. Some people, I'll tell ya.
