it would be like the Vanek trade. The Islanders have good chemistry why change it...keep what you have...we have a very good team right now...I would probably give them Reinhart and either Bailey or Grabner for Hall. Maybe throw in another prospect but that's it...don't need to fix that's not broken...

Good shot, good wheels, and strong on his skates. And sometimes he's willing to go to the places where he can use those assets to put up points. But when he doesn't feel like going to those places...well, I think we all remember his patented orbit around the offensive zone...

If he crashed the net instead of avoided contact every shift Blake would have been a VERY good NHL player. I have never been more frustrated by a player's refusal to go TO the net instead of skate around it... He was very Kvasha like in that regard.

I have to say I like our chances tonight against Detroit. We always seem to play them well.

Great present getting Hamonic and Boychuk back. I would not let them play there full minutes though just as a precaution.

I am more worried about who is net. Johnson tonight and Halak tomorrow. If Johnson we need at least 4 goals to even get a point.

Anyway it is almost the New Year and the Islanders are still on top. Dream come true

Hes still better then quite a few who have jobs in the NHL.. he's 2 & 2 so far this season.. I have no doubt he will get atleast 10 more wins and be able to retire with 700+ wins. Remarkable!
